the Agenda 2030 document on Sustainable Development Goals which was endorsed by
the global community in New York at the UN General Assembly held on Sept 25,
2015
To draw
out the implications of this agenda on development, human rights, environment
and democracy
To note
the implications for development planning and economic growth in ASEAN in
general and Malaysia in particular
To discern
the usefulness of the SDG framework in addressing socio-economic deprivation together
with peoples participation as a strategy to foster conflict resolution and
reconciliation
